I used to love going to this place for their relaxed atmosphere, quirky staff, and excellent selection of beer. In the past year or so they‘ve really been pushing their upgraded food menu full of delicious selections featuring great burgers, delicious brats, and some of the best sweet potato fries around.
The only drawback is that by trying to attract a larger clientele, they have. What used to be a nice place for a quiet great beer has now become overrun with Affliction and Ed Hardy shirts making this bar feel more like Emerson Biggins than what it was originally intended to be. Its great for the owners, bad for the people hanging on to what it was. This is a place I hate myself for loving.
